What’s better than baby goats? How about baby goat yoga? Join Lindsey Alexander for a lighthearted all-levels outdoors yoga practice at Celebrity Dairy during their wonderful Open Barns event, when visitors have a chance to explore the farm and snuggle with some sweet newborn goats. We’ll be joined by some kids (yes, that kind) in the pratice area, and afterward you’ll have a chance to get some lunch at the inn and take home some Celebrity Dairy cheese and soap.

Because of the popularity of previous events, pre-registration is strongly recommended. Registration is $20 per participant, plus a small EventBrite service fee. Children over the age of 3 are welcome with an accompanying adult.

Please DO bring a mat or towel to practice on, and wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty. As this is an active farm, sandals and open-toed shoes are not recommended. You’re welcome to practice with shoes on or off. In the event of rain, class will take place in a covered hay barn, so no need to worry about the weather.

Please DO consider carpooling, as this year Celebrity will be charging a $10 per-car admission fee to Open Barns. General admission to Open Barns is separate from baby goat yoga.

**Please note we will be offering this event twice in February, on February 9 and February 10, and that there are two classes per day. Please make sure to purchase a ticket for the date and time you plan to attend.**

Does this event take place outside?
Yes. This event happens on an active farm and outdoors, so make sure to dress appropriately. There is a rain location, which is under cover but not heated.

What should I bring?
Bring a mat and/or a towel to practice on, and you’ll probably want your phone or camera handy to take pictures. Please don’t bring anything into the practice area you don’t want the goats to nibble on or get dirty.

I’ve never done yoga before. Is this class okay for me?
Yes! This is an all-levels practice, which means you’ll be offered more and less challenging options. If you’ve never done yoga before, just watch your neighbor, and try not to take yourself too seriously. There’s no “right” way to do this practice so long as what you’re doing feels good. The idea is to have fun and spend time with the animals.

The class I’d like to register for is now full. What are my options?
When a class fills, we open the waitlist. People’s plans do occasionally change, so if you sign up for the waitlist, there is a chance a spot will open up for you. Please be aware that one waitlist spot equals one ticket, so if there are multiple people in your group, make sure each person signs up for the waitlist.

I can’t make these dates, but I’d like to learn about upcoming goat yoga classes.
No worries. Like or follow my Facebook page to stay in the loop. I also offer goat yoga for private events, like birthdays or corporate retreats. Get in touch if you’re interested.

Is there parking?
Parking is available on-site. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the class start time to find a spot and sign in. Please note that starting in 2019, there will be a $10 admission fee per carload to Open Barns, and that this is separate from your goat yoga ticket. (Consider carpooling!)

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You do not. (Yay!) Just make sure to tell us when you check in what name was used to purchase tickets. That’s how we’ll find you.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Yup. See above.

How can I contact the organizer with any other questions?
