The American Revolutionary War in North Carolina Part 2

Local historian Gene Brooks will present the second installment of the Chatham County Historical Association’s three-part educational series on the American Revolutionary War at this program. Part one set the stage, but if you missed it, Mr. Brooks will catch us up before discussing the Southern campaign as it played out in NC and Chatham County.

Come and learn more about events at Guilford Courthouse and at Ramsey’s Mill in Chatham, Greene’s troops in Chatham, the Battle of Lindley’s Mill, the raid on Chatham Courthouse, the skirmish at Blood Run Creek near Siler City, and ┬álocal guerrilla warfare led by David Fanning. The program is free and everyone is welcome. Join us!
