Tree Lighting – An old-fashioned Christmas Celebration featuring school choirs, carolers, Santa Claus, shipping and more. Festivities culminate with the lighting of an 18-foot Christmas tree at the historic Chatham County Courthouse. Businesses are hosting special events all day. Santa visitation starts at 3:30pm.

CCCC Foundation’s Christmas Tree Lighting – The free event takes place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at CCCC’s Siler City Center, 400 Progress Boulevard, Siler City. The jolly old elf will greet children of all ages and be available to take Christmas wishes back to the North Pole. Santa is ready and eager to meet all of the children and have his picture taken with them.

Chatham Artists Limo Tour – Come join Southern Sunshine Limo Tours for an evening of fine art, fine edibles, and great music. We’ll travel to the Art Reception by our Stretched Luxury Limo. There, we’ll get to enjoy the opening Art Reception, hors d’oeuvres, and seeing some spectacular visual arts. From there, we’ll travel to the Pittsboro Roadhouse for Dinner and one of the Triangle’s Best High Energy and cover bands, “Spare Change.”

Christmas Choir Carols and Chili – Before the Siler City Christmas Parade Thursday, December 7. 5:30 to 7 pm warm your soul and your stomach. The parade starts at 7PM.. bring a chair and enjoy the upfront view of the lit lot with Frazier Fir Christmas trees, wreaths, band, and choir singing carols. Bring a blanket to wrap your legs and hold that hot chili and chocolate, with that wonderful hotdog or nachos. Get your spot early to watch the parade. Join the Wesleyan Choir and come out early to enjoy a Christmas choir and live Band. Hot Cider, Hot Chocolate, Chili, Hot Dogs, and Nachos will be on hand. All proceeds go to the Children’s Ministry at First Wesleyan.
